Sample Cost Spreadsheet for Product Importing into Brazil
In 1997 the Brazilian Government established a computerized information system to monitor imports and to facilitate customs clearance known as the Foreign Trade Integrated System (SISCOMEX). The SISCOMEX has facilitated and reduced the amount of paperwork previously required for importing into Brazil.
Below is the hypothetical Cost Buildup for an Importation of some products (a real case study from February 8, 2009). Obviously, we would ask you to request us a specific tax study for your especific kind of product.
